GFS Quick Tip #2: Wall Sits

... and core stability. wall sits involve every major muscle in the legs and the core as they seek to stabilize you during the hold.

Since the wall sit taxes an athlete's muscular endurance it can be used in preparation for sports which require endurance training protocols (eg 5K runners) or as an exercise to target the legs. Persons with knee injuries should avoid or find a comfortable depth to work with.
