GFS Quick Tip #5: Of Sweet Drinks & Fruit Juices

💡: I'm a big believer in prevention rather than cure. Our incidences of diabetes and other cardiovascular diseases are simply too high. Although some of us are unfortunately predisposed, we should try to avoid or stave off these diseases as much as possible. That is on us... it's on you and it is on me to ensure that we do what is best for us
 
I'm not saying to avoid all sweets and treats but please please please do it in moderation. That said, cutting or limiting sweet drinks & "fruit juices" is a great start. Eat the fruit instead. You get more fiber that way..Most of what's on the supermarket shelf is FULL OF sugar and lacking nutrients. Check the label for yourself
